1. What information we collect
We may collect your personal information if you elect to install an eligible small generation units (Eligible System) and agree to assign the rights to your small-scale technology certificates (STCs) to us under the CER’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (Scheme).
The information we may collect, or which may be collected by a retailer or installer of an Eligible System on our behalf, includes:
• your identity and contact information, i.e. your name, date of birth, address, phone number, email;
• installation address of the Eligible System;
• your information entered in completing the STC assignment form;
• information relating to the sale of the Eligible System to you, or its installation at your address; and
• such other information that we are required to collect under the Scheme or the assignment or verification of STCs.
We may also collect details of other interactions that you have with us, together with any other information that you choose to give us. If you provide us with personal information about another person, such as an additional account holder or a family member, you must tell that person about this Privacy Statement.

2. How we collect your personal information
We may collect your personal information in several ways, including:
• directly from you (unless it is unreasonable or impracticable to do so); and
• from third parties, including the retailers or installers that you have engaged to purchase an Eligible System.

3. The purposes for which we collect your personal information
As an assignor of the rights to STCs to us, we may process your personal information for a range of different purposes including:
• to assign the rights to your STCs to Greenbot Pty. Ltd., and to surrender such STCs to the CER;
• to verify the STCs with the CER or any other government authority associated with the Scheme;
• to administer and comply with our obligations under the Scheme, and any requests of CER or other government authority associated with the Scheme;
• to communicate with you in connection with the STCs or the Scheme;
• to respond to any complaint you make to us;
• to answer your inquiries and provide any information or documents you request;
• for administrative, planning, product or service development, quality control and research purposes relating to our products and services;
• to update our records and keep your contact details up to date; and
• to use information we are permitted by law to use for any other purpose.
If you choose not to provide your personal information to us, we may not be able to accept the assignment of the rights to the STCs and the Retailer who sold you the Eligible System may not be able to offer you a rebate or credit in relation to such rights to the STCs.

4. When we disclose your information to or collect your information from third parties
We may disclose your personal information to third parties in the conduct of our business and for their work. Third parties include:
• our related entities.
• the Retailer or installer of your Eligible System;
• the CER and other government and regulatory authorities agencies in connection with the Scheme or where otherwise required or authorized by law;
• our third-party service providers and contractors, including information technology providers; and
• our professional advisors, such as accountants, auditors and solicitors.

5. Information held overseas
We may hold personal information about you in, or may disclose this information to, third-party service providers located overseas. If your personal information is held in other overseas countries in the future, we will update this collection statement.
